Review on πŸ”‹ Minder Research Solar Powered TPMS for Trailers - 4 Tire Kit (TPMS-TRL-4 TireMinder) by John Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Spend money. this one is worth it.

It took about half an hour from start to finish. I have a 25 foot Rockwood MiniLite. First plug in the monitor and let it charge a little, then go outside and mount the amp directly on the trailer battery. Black-Red+ I installed mine upside down as far forward as possible under the trailer. I used some double sided tape and 2 screws and screwed them to the soft plastic membrane under the trailer. done with it. Inflate the tires to whatever pressure you normally run, mine was all 60psi, and after putting the batteries in each gauge clean the valve stems a bit with a damp rag or something. You need a clean tip shank to prevent leakage. Next, I missed the whole little nut and tool guard feature because I'm not really worried about theft. Screw the probes firmly onto the stem of each valve according to the instructions. Now go back inside, take the small screen and set the maximum air pressure you are using. I had 60psi. Read the instructions on how to do this little tweak, it's very simple. Now bring it to the trailer. It will blink a little before detecting each sensor. It took me about 8 minutes to find all 4 tires. Now remove the red plastic covering the tape and pick a good spot on the windshield. That's all! Damn it works! It's solar powered by the way, so I don't see the need for hardwiring.
