Lots of space and the top feels pretty solid. Their disadvantage is that they cannot be stacked in the refrigerator with the lid closed. The molded handle on top has a small and rigid protrusion so nothing flat (other glass containers, plates, bowls, utensils, etc.) can be placed on it. I was hoping to use them for more everyday use as a small bowl for rising dough, storing bone broth, etc., but they're not very practical in the fridge. Also, be careful when putting lids in the dishwasher. The heat will deform the vertical flange a bit when crushed by other objects, which is almost impossible. It will still work, but it doesn't quite fit.
