Detailed pros and cons for artists

As a serious artist, these pens are a staple for me! heavy hand for drawing. - Harder and not as blendable as Prismacolor Premiers (but they aren't made for blending, so it all depends on what you're looking for) - They require the sharpening you may be used to but cause a slower workflow with professional items than Options like erasable crayons and pencils may be considered less portable for on-the-go sketching, depending on the sharpener and environment. , also when compared to mainstream brands of erasable colored pencils (and they are not mainstream, these are Prismacolor!) - the high quality allows you to use them in all your professional items, but the low price makes you feel like you I also add them to my sketchbook (which I do for an easy way to add bright colors!). mixed line which I really like) - while they do blend easily, it's predictable and controllable - they do NOT smudge all over the page like graphite - erasers aren't that bad - if you have a soft hand for drawing, erase them altogether without much trouble. The harder lead is also an advantage: these pencils glide smoothly and do not need to be sharpened as often as standard graphite or Prismacolor Premier pencils.
