I tried and tried and tried. and trying to get it working. Followed each setup step in detail many times, restarted the device and tried again. Attempted troubleshooting from the company website (which is littered with troubleshooting tickets). There is no joy. I have a Garmin speed sensor on my front wheel and I confirm the pairing every time I try. The calibration runs at 100 watts, then goes to 600 and then stops at 50. Or the calibration just starts again at 0 after reaching 100. I've spent quite a bit of time playing around with this thing. Back to reliable pedals and back to hoping there's something on the market that I can easily transfer from road, to mountain, to gravel - and it really works.
