Review on Golden Pattern J·Striker Tea Kettle - 3.0 Liter Water Kettle with Loud Whistle, Wood Pattern Handle - Food Grade Stainless Steel Tea Pot by Ross Decoteau

This teapot really has everything I've ever dreamed of aesthetically. This is a great addition to my kitchen and heats up quickly. Unfortunately, despite using medium heat as instructed, one side of the kettle turned dark brown in less than a month of daily use. I clean it after each use so I know it's not from food leftovers and there aren't any bubbles on the surface that would lead me to believe it's from too much heat. Looks like a manufacturing defect. I'm so sad because I really love this kettle but it doesn't seem to be as durable as it's being sold. It's a shame that the product sold out so quickly. I'm so confused :(
