Excellent passive corrective trainer
I have a very high drive Breton dog. He has a high drive, but he's not as hardy as a Chesapeake Bay Retriever that needed an old medal collar. This is ideal for a soft dog. These are training collars that will trick the dog not to pull or fall as they will correct themselves if they do so. I don't use it like a choke collar for active correction. This is a softer collar, ideal for its purpose. I'm not sure how good it will be in an adult male malamute.
