Suitable for light use (pun intended?) but not serious use

I used to have a headlamp that I really liked but it ran on real AA batteries and wasn't rechargeable so bought it I instead these two packs. Pros: - You get two lights, which is good because you can charge one with the other. - Comes with a USB charging cable. - You can see when the light is charging/high. Recharge - Good price - Light weight (the other one I made in metal was heavier) - Fast delivery from supplier. Supplier provides lifetime warranty - Multiple features/lighting options. I love that there is both a solid red light and an option for flashing red lights. Cons: - The included charging cables are short (10 inches from end to end). The "side of the plastic" rubbed my head. It was annoying. I noticed that the other side (the plain black side with no printing) was less "bumpy" of the plastic so I could flip the rubber band over and it was better than the rubber band coming out, but I got by with the Turned the plain black side out and it's more convenient - the light doesn't flip out more than 45 degrees which was better as I use it to illuminate the sewing I'm working on. About 90 degrees was much better for my purposes. The fold-out part of the lantern is made of plastic and doesn't feel like it's very strong for caving or other somewhat rigorous activities. I use my headlamp for embroidery where I'm just sitting on my chair. I'm afraid one will hit a cave wall or something and the thing will probably break all over. The plastic "hinges" doesn't seem very strong light (when used at high 2 white lights) becomes very weak after about 2 hours of continuous use. It won't stay bright longer, so if you plan on using your headlamp longer between charges, this probably isn't the best option. For me, sewing is normal. I just switch to another headlamp that charges. - If you have a big head, this one might be too tight for you. I have a "normal sized" head and the elastic had to be stretched to its full length. Even after wearing it for some time, it leaves "dents" on my forehead from the lamp. Overall, for the price, it's good enough for me. As I said, if I were to use it for a real sport or outdoor activity it would definitely not be my first choice.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Zero
