I bought this because my nails have always been very thin and grow to a certain length and then break. When I apply it to my nails (I apply 2 thin coats) it thickens my nails but leaves them thin and natural. I used it on my nails and then finished it off with gel polish and regular nail polish so it lasted 2-3 weeks. I heal it with my Sensationail lamp and it takes time to soak it. The jar is small, but it has many advantages. I would suggest that you use a small, stiff bristle brush to apply it where you need it. The product is self-leveling, so you don't have to polish it to smooth it out. I would recommend to anyone doing nails at home and would buy this product again from this seller.
