My two and a half year old cat spent several weeks woofing down his food so fast that he was regurgitating after almost every meal. I tried feeding him a bit at a time, I tried sitting with him while he eats, I tried putting plastic toy balls in his food dish so he'd have to eat around them, and he'd still throw up.I ordered this bowl as a sort of last option before taking him to the vet to make sure something wasn't wrong with his health. At first he was not the slightest bit interested in it, even with his favorite wet food in it. I didn't break and all I was feeding him with was this bowl so he'd have no choice but to get used to it, and after just about a week, he no longer even hesitates, he licks the bowl clean, and he hasn't thrown up since the day before this bowl was delivered.Kind of a pain to clean thoroughly for obvious reasons but the material makes it as easy as something like this can be. The film of wet food needs to be rinsed and given a little swirl to come off but it's way better than cleaning up cat puke.Definitely worth a try if you're like me and have a pet who eats too fast and makes themself sick. This is a godsend.
