I recently bought this. I have used other aerators and this is by far my favorite. It was cheaper than others. This alone was worth my time, but it was the way it was constructed and the way my wine was transformed that made this my first 5 star review. In the past I have used aerators with a fine mesh filter. After using this for years the screen deteriorated and I had to either buy a new screen but mostly buy a brand new aerator because the previous version no longer exists. I have used carbon filter aerators and that would change the taste of the wine and ruin the filter again. The material this aerator is made of is very durable. I've already dropped it, no crack. The technology inside eliminates the need for filters, so your wine tastes completely unaltered. Seriously, you can transform a $15 bottle and it tastes like an award-winning vintage for 3-4 times the price. I highly recommend it. The packaging was also very good. It was presented as a beautiful decoration. The aerator and its stand came in a velvet pouch, and this came in a bright red box. It also simplifies the gifting process.
