Review on Optimized Welder's Marking Pencil by Peris Holland
Visibility is so-so.
Slightly better than soapstone. I gave my colleagues a pencil to try out, and then they both told me the same thing. Pencil marks did not glow like the packaging would have you believe. But it marked darker metal perfectly. Harder to see marks on newer, cleaner metal. But on a not entirely clean surface, it marks better.
