Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Enhanced Extech RH200W: Wireless Hygro-Thermometer for Indoor/Outdoor Monitoring by Bill Tripi

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Accurate with large backlit display. Very difficult to install remote sensor

We use this device to keep the outside temperature when we use our 5th wheel. I like numbers that are easy to read. The built-in backlight is adequate but could be brighter for distance reading. The remote transmitter has a good range and the signal penetrates a few walls before reaching the receiver. Looks pretty accurate. The packaging states that batteries are included. That is only partly true. It comes with 4 AA elements. This is what the receiver/display unit needs. Batteries for the sensor/transmitter (2 AA) are not included. My only complaint is that the body of the transmitter is bent so I can't velcro it to the outside of the pendant. It comes with a keyhole shaped mounting hole on the back. I don't want to use a screw that could compromise the watertightness of the trailer. It seems to me that a block intended for wall mounting should have a flat back panel. Otherwise I am very satisfied with this device.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Slightly dented
