Easy to set up, easy to read

This is a large print indoor and outdoor thermometer. It was easy to set up, only took a few minutes. I find that sometimes it's a degree or two different than the other indoor thermometer we have, but it's very cheap and I'm not saying it's accurate, I'm just saying there's a few degrees difference in room temperature . Can you ever have enough hygrothermometers at home? Maybe, maybe not!

So I now have 3 (now 4) hygrometers in my house to monitor both temperature and humidity. The remote transmitter has a good range and the signal penetrates a few walls before reaching the receiver. Looks pretty accurate. The packaging states that batteries are included. That is only partly true. It comes with 4 AA elements. This is what the receiver/display unit needs. Batteries for the…

Extech RH200W Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Weather Station

When it arrived I gave it to my husband to set up and run. He said it was easy enough to install, ours came with all the batteries, I see other reviewers only got 4 of the 6 needed which is not good factory quality control. He had no problem understanding instructions and liked that he could be calibrated. We have another brand of something very similar and we both noticed THAT Extech RH200W running in circles around the other on how much closer it is to actual temperature and humidity. Here in
