Review on 🚣 Hybrid Kayak and Gear Garage Storage Racks by Malone J-Dock by William Turner

I needed these to hold my 12 1/2' Inuit which is 26 inches wide and 55 pounds. The Inuit fits perfectly and is very durable without having to buckle up. Using only the screws provided, I just installed the first post and placed a 2x4 between them with a level to attach the second. /8" from the wall at the deepest point. I wanted to know exactly how deep they are since my garage is tight, but they worked great. FYI, I set mine up so the kayak was slightly higher than mine Side mirror. Car when I drive in as my space is limited I used the smaller straps provided to hold the two paddles under the uprights. I installed two racks 42" apart. I have the large straps which come with second kayak not used I have had no issues with the racks not being laid yet and the temp in my garage here is well over 90C so so far there have been in the time I have had it , no warping but thought about adding foam just in case where the mounts make contact with the kayak, this may have just been the way I used the kayak in racks with no straps and very hot temp en installed in the garage but will be sure to add spacers before putting the kayak back in the rack.
