I've had to use them a few times on my tubeless mountain bike and it's a lot better than working with tube patches. It's a little fiddly to fit the repair sticks onto the included tool, but you get used to it after a while and it's still quick enough. I managed to crash pretty hard, punching a hole in my rear tire, knocking the air out of my chest, and I was still able to stick a repair plug on a stick and plug the hole while panting, so can't be that bad. After about 3 patches in my rear tire I finally noticed that my tire was slowly deflating but still held up well for my rides which are typically 2-3 hours.
