Review on 🎛️ Jennings CJ-4000 Weigh Scale - Compact Digital 4000g x 0.5g PCS JScale (Black) with AC Adapter by Melissa Moore

This is my favorite kitchen scale. I use it to make coffee (liquor) every day and to measure ingredients in baked goods and sometimes in cooking. It's quick enough to measure and very clear to read, making it a great choice for casting. It can be accurate up to 4000g which is also usually more than enough to measure flowers/sugar etc in large baking bowls. He really hit the mark, good at everything (except espresso). I haven't had any real problems with it over the years that I've been using it, although I do want to point out a couple of things. A year later, my backlight stopped working. Not a big problem but it was tricky in low light so I contacted Jennings and they sent me a replacement free of charge. My new one works great. Second, some reviews mention a few grams of weight change if you leave things on it. I have the same problem, but only when making coffee. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the temperature on the dial, but even a 5-10g difference at the end of the pour is negligible. When I start measuring coffee I don't notice the weight shift. While the scale is by no means perfect, it is the best option in this price range, outperforming many much cheaper scales you can find. in the $10 price range.
