Review on ๐Ÿšš Enhanced Z36 Truck & Tow Brake Kit - Power Stop K5577-36, Carbon Fiber Ceramic Pads, and Drilled/Slotted Rotors by Mike Rajput

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very high quality brake kit

I bought this disc brake kit because I have previously used Power Stop brakes with great results. Deformation. They are drilled and slotted for proper cooling. The brake pads are made of graphite ceramic so that the brakes do not fade. I bought a tractor brake pack because I'm towing a trailer with a tractor and a front loader. The rotors also have two additional threaded holes that allow you to "push" the rotor out of the hub if it gets stuck after years of use. very nice function. So far all three of these brake packs are much better than the original manufacturer's equipment and two cars have clocked over 60,000 miles with these brakes. NOTE for Power Stop. This K5577-36 package weighs over 120lbs so maybe you could ship it in 2 boxes. Finally, you should clean or remove old brake fluid every two years, since brake fluid is hygroscopic, i.e. it absorbs moisture. This should prevent water vapor (from the air) from accumulating in the wheel and master cylinder. But the higher the moisture content in the brake fluid, the lower the boiling point. I use synthetic brake fluid DOT 5.1 with a very high boiling point (522 degrees). DO NOT use DOT 5 brake fluid on vehicles with anti-lock brakes as it is purely silicone fluid and the anti-lock pump will foam up like whipped cream. DOT 5 is ideal for race cars without anti-lock braking systems as its boiling point is well over 550 degrees. Remember that DOT 5 is only suitable for racing cars without ABS. DOT 5.1 is for normal cars with ABS. anti-lock braking system.
