Complete set to work

When I first tried this brake set, the first thing I noticed was the weight of each rotor, which was significantly more than the original discs that came from my 17 year old navigator. The kit was packaged very well, over 100 pounds in a box with 4 rotors and 2 sets of brake pads. Anti-rattle clips, grease and pin bushings are included. Took me a few hours to swap out, I recommended an initial break-in period and now we'll see how life holds up. Previous score +

  • Great construction

Excellent quality and stopping power 2012 Exp Limited

Installation was easy. Each rotor is labeled on which wheel it is mounted. The braking power is great. One problem is they only send one package of grease per axle and that's not enough for the sliding pins and rear pads. No rust on the wheels yet. Removing one of the old rotors wasn't an easy task, it required a bigger hammer to bang the hell out of it. The PB blaster splashed into the wheel bolt gap in between and the rotor ripped off the rust enough to free the rotor.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Quality product in spare form

The packaging wasn't top notch for such a heavy batch as it barely survived. But the components appear to be quality products. I put them on my wife's 2016 Ford Expedition. We were very disappointed with the OEM brakes, which would seize up after a few thousand miles and warp after a few more. We drove 2 wheel sets and one set drove 80,000 km. Together with her we have driven about 3,000 miles with these K5577-36 Power Stop brakes and so far we are very happy with the smooth braking. Even after

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Something different

Well packed boxes from Power Stop. Excellent quality parts.

update 7/28/21 Despite the fact that the box was opened, everything was inside. I have a 2016 Ford Expedition. When I opened the rear pad box I was concerned at first because I didn't see any pad clips. My fault - the rear pads just slide back and forth on the metal of the caliper itself - no clips. Luckily, I found a YouTube video that walked through the Expedition rear brakes step-by-step and showed how they just slid on metal. The kit is well thought out. The pads are sealed in thick plastic

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • not the best

Great price and amazing stopping power.

Wife's 2016 Expedition had a lot of meat on the pads and the rotors were in good condition but there was an unpleasant squeak when pulling out of the garage after an overnight stay. I don't tow much, but I've noticed that the stock brakes get pretty hot when towing. This kit solved both of those problems and significantly increased stopping power. Originally planning to just buy new pads, I found that this set would only cost $120. Worth the investment! Braking is incredibly smooth and direct…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Very expensive

BREAK! (ha ha got it?)

Absolutely perfect brake kit for my 2011 Ford Expediton. Everything fit perfectly. For me it was a real shade tree mechanic's job and I never had a problem with the installation. After tapping the snot out of the old rotors to remove them from the hub, I cleaned up and got to work. I took my time and lubricated the Beh-Jesus with all the seals, guides and pads, I had no brake squeal. The rotors look great and are incredibly heavy, be careful with them. I took my "school bus" on its first trip…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • No automatic

Very high quality brake kit

I bought this disc brake kit because I have previously used Power Stop brakes with great results. Deformation. They are drilled and slotted for proper cooling. The brake pads are made of graphite ceramic so that the brakes do not fade. I bought a tractor brake pack because I'm towing a trailer with a tractor and a front loader. The rotors also have two additional threaded holes that allow you to "push" the rotor out of the hub if it gets stuck after years of use. very nice function. So far all…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Faulty
