Not for high arches

Shoes have great cushioning under the ball of the foot and heel and the heel cup provides a secure fit. The problem is in the midfoot and arch. While providing some arch support, the laces are tight and go very high on the instep, causing pain in the top of the foot. If you loosen the laces, you lose the stability offered by the stiffer "N" on the sides, and your feet slide forward and side-to-side. It also has a rockier bottom, making the heel-to-toe drop feel less than the advertised 8mm. Would love to see NB return to the more traditional 8 and 9 1080s Lightweight shoes are great but not at the expense of support and stability. This shoe supports the entire 'N', heel and laces. A padded tongue and less knit around the toe would be a great upgrade. Finally, these shoes run small. I had to increase the length by half a size.

  • Great for me
Cons
  • Unusable features
