I had some problems with my -1. There was a black mark or something, so I attached that side to the wall. Will not come off.2. There was a chemical smell, but I washed the lid, lid and plate. After that he left.3. I find it quite expensive but of course I put it in the cart so it's not a big deal. 4. The top doesn't sit flush, it seems to pop up a bit. before leaving my butter on the plate. I can't be too picky about that. In general. this is a very nice dish. Seems very strong. Note, as with the others mentioned, you can't use it with a countertop unless you want their big logo on it.
