DON'T HESITATE TO BUY IT!

First of all, I'm a sniper snob. I also do extensive research before I buy anything. I can't say enough about the quality of this mount. I installed it on my V-Twin's handlebars and it just won't move. The phone doesn't move at all. The necessary rubber phone holders are pretty much useless because the industrial strength spring in the holder part is so good. In terms of size, it fits even the largest phones. I received my wife's 7plus with a case with no problems. I am currently using an iPhone X with a symmetrical case and a rubber card holder on the back and it fits with no problems. However, problems can arise if you have a really thick battery case. I have yet to try a battery case for the iPhone X, but 99% of the other cases will do, including otters and life jackets. The finish is also very nice. It matches the finish of my bike perfectly. I was genuinely skeptical of this or any other mount. I kept hearing negative reviews about RAM mounts, so I went with this one. Keep in mind that the price is higher, but with this product you get machined aluminum and steel. It is very well made which is why it fits the bike so well. As an investment to protect and store your phone worth over $800, $60 is nothing. My cell phone costs $1200. So I refuse to buy a $12 phone mount and then flip it when it fails on the freeway. In short: BUY NOW AND DO NOT RETURN!
