Review on πŸ”³ KREG KMA3220 Shelf Pin Jig with 5mm Pin Size by Noe Spooner

Works great for me with power tool parts and accessories

I'm a hobbyist and I build a cabinet for myself or friends from time to time. I have already used this lamp in several projects and am mostly satisfied with it. I've tried this before with a drill press and a large table and there was always a hole that was a little off. I've drilled large rows of holes, maybe two meters, with this template and they all look perfect.* The tool fits nicely on the edge of the piece of wood and with the index pin it stays in place fairly well. I haven't messed with the clamps, just using the index pin and a good grip on my hand. * I'm sticking with 5mm holes and pins and am happy with the holes and fit. The pins fit snugly and the holes don't tear much. However, most of my work is done on 8 or 10 ply plywood, which I find easier to work with than chipboard or MDF. I see that with each of these materials you have to be a bit more careful with the drill. === Not very good stuff ===* The jig really should be another hole. I usually drill every other hole, and since the index pin occupies one hole, I really only get two extra holes for each jig placement. Being a hobby, a little extra time isn't a big deal, but if I did it every day I'd see the benefit of plugging a second device into the first.* Again, this probably isn't a problem. for me, but I could see that after some use the bushing was starting to wear out and getting sloppy. === Summary === I get great looking lace patterns without much effort or cost. This counts as a success!
