This monitor is an excellent compromise between excellent picture clarity while maintaining an ultra-wide format. I wanted ultrawide but wanted a panel next to VA and a 120Hz+ refresh rate. The main reason for choosing an IPS panel was the fact that VA panels are notorious for ghosting. Comparing this monitor to my BenQ ZOWIE XL2546 (my previous daybook) it is pretty clear that this monitor will not reach the performance level of a "gaming" monitor. Regardless, this monitor still performs exceptionally well when it comes to gaming. Ghosting is minimal, and when tested side-by-side with the BenQ, the MSI holds its own. There IS some blur when tested with the Blur Busters UFO test, but this can be further mitigated by enabling the MPRT Sync option in the OSD (enabling MPRT will result in a less blurry image while driving, but will reduce the overall brightness of the Picture). your monitor). 1440p is a big step up from 1080p and is enhanced by an ultra-wide aspect ratio. To be honest, I don't think I'll go back to 16:9 after the switch. If you want an ultra-wide format but don't like the halos of VA panels, this is a good choice, especially if it's flat instead of curved. is not a violation of the terms of the contract.
