Review on 📸 Kodak P811 DARK PURPLE Personal Photo & Negative Scanner: Digitize Memories with Style by Tony Flugence

I'm a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews but I think it's great. I only gave it 4 stars because I think it's a software issue. The scanner is very easy to use. I scanned 100 photos in a very short time. I got a few lines that some people have complained about, but they weren't big white lines. They were very thin and distorted, which was more scanned. They were only visible when zoomed in. They can easily be removed with the editing software that comes with the scanner. I cleaned it according to the instructions, everything is fine. I also noticed that they showed up more often on older Instamatic photos than on newer lab photos. I started wiping the photos with a glasses cloth and had to clean the car less often. Too bad that only one carrier sheet is included for scanning. This worked well for photos that were cracked, torn, spilled, or had tape on the corners. It cleans very easily. I've also used it on old photos that have been cropped out. As for the software, it can do amazing things to make a photo look great, removing dust and lint that sticks to instant photos before they've had a chance to dry. With just one click you can completely remove a small stain. You can also fill in the blanks in the photo if you have the patience. By creating small sections at a time, you can shift the color from the photo next to the gap or blemish just above the gap. The only problem is that there is no undo last edit feature in the software. It has a reset to original feature, but that means you have to start over. That it can be very annoying when you've spent 30 minutes filling in a blank and made a mistake (editing the place again). So, based on experience, auto-fix first if you like the results, and then, and only then, should you start the cleaning process. I also eagerly learned to start with faces. Faces seem to be the easiest part of a photo to edit. (The sides of the nose and lips may look deformed if touched too often.) I hope you find this information useful.
