Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Motion Pro 08-0524 6.8mm Ergo Spoke Wrench: Enhancing Bike Spoke Maintenance Effortlessly by Richard Miller

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Spoke head wrenches should be 6mm thicker than a standard open end wrench to grip the full depth of the spoke nut to compensate for not being able to grip from all 4 sides like the box end and reduce the likelihood.

Not an exact tool. A very sloppy fit and guaranteed to thread the spoke nuts. The line wrench style box end should be a 15 degree angled end, but it isn't, and the angled end is an even sloppier open end. With the 15 degree angle, you can simply turn a wrench to get a different approach instead of dragging the wheel around to approach from the opposite side. I suspect the Chinese engineers don't understand why our combination wrenches evolved to include an angle head. It's a thing called tool access. Additionally, spoke socket wrenches should be 6mm thicker than a standard open end wrench to reach the full depth of the spoke nut to compensate for not being able to grip on all 4 sides as is the case with the flared end. and to reduce the possibility of rounding off the unhardened end of the spoke. But these wrenches are only slightly thicker than a standard open-end wrench.
