Review on 🦚 5D Full Drill Diamond Painting Kit: DIY Rhinestone Cross Stitch Embroidery, Peacock Wall Decor 12x12 inch by Wendy Rodriguez

I saw these diamond painting kits everywhere and decided to order one myself to see what they are. I thought people can't stick tiny gems on a piece of canvas for fun, I must miss it. some. No, I was not. That's it. This set came with a sticky printed canvas, a gem pouch strip, a dotted pen, a wax/cement square and a small green tray. Each pack of colored gems matches a color on the pattern (more confusing is the key printed on the side of the picture - why can't the letter on the canvas match the number on the pack? Why the key?). The packs are easy to rip apart, but they also rip easily leaving the lightstones flying all over the place. I wish there was some sort of container to keep them organized (they kept sticking to my hands and arms as I reached across the table) but there were so many colors I didn't even have enough bowls in the closet . the point tool worked well; You pick up some wax to hold the gem in place (works well for a number of gems before you need to refill) and then simply glue the gem to the canvas where it's held in place with an adhesive backing. It's literal. Brief instructions are printed at the bottom of the canvas, which isn't enough, but it's actually not a difficult project. I didn't even go through the entire line of gems before giving up. Keeping track of which numbered gems correspond to which scrambled letter is incredibly tedious and very tiring. The image itself is cute, but also quite grainy, and I'm not sure how amazing it will look composed of "diamonds". I have no experience with other diamond painting kits so can't really compare but I would say I was completely unimpressed with this one. Overall the quality felt cheap and the gem packs were totally impractical. I hope others are better. I would stay away from this set.
