Review on Efficient Conversion Solution: DEWALT DWV9140 2-1/4-Inch OD Adapter by Julius Hunter

See I see. The actual piece does not match the photo here on Revain or on DeWalt's own website. It's stupid, it's true. But honestly, is it different from anything else in the field of dust collection? The time I've spent trying to find the right fittings/adapters/hoses/clamps/couplings/whatever just to get wood dust through a pipe is absurdly ridiculous. It seems that even if you know the exact ID/OD of everything, you still have to take multiple paths to the store or return to Revain. In my three trips to Woodcraft, I'm sure I've spent at least a few hours right in the dust collection area trying to figure out what relates to what. I've found that even if an adapter has an ID/OD specified, it often doesn't match. So I've given up now and just buy these things and send back the ones that don't work. The reason I give this product 4 stars is because it works for me. It fits perfectly on the router table I have and fits in my band saw's dust box. It goes with other things I have lying around. I ordered one but will be ordering a few more to keep in the tools. So yeah, dust collecting is crazy and this product list doesn't help, but I love the product I got.
