I received my order on time and in perfect condition. I will admit that I was suspicious of the Dorman brand based on previous experiences, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the Dorman product is actually BETTER in design. and build quality than original factory wiper assemblies! The powder coated black finish immediately caught my eye - a superior finish and more durable than OEM parts. But the real gem came when I examined the locking mechanism. Dorman wiper arms #42619 (driver's side) and #42618 (passenger's side) have been redesigned to correct an issue with deformed or falling out locking pins on factory TRICO wiper arms, as well as earlier Dorman replacement FoMoCo wiper arms as noted in some earlier ones Reviews. This problem has plagued Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and Town Car owners for almost 2 decades and Dorman has solved it! The NEW Dorman design does not have a removable "locking pin" - it has a locking pin molded right into the base of the arm - it cannot fall out or tip over. If you have a Crown Vic, Grand Marquis or Town Car this is the solution to your wiper arm problems! And their prices are very reasonable!
