It cleans pretty well with the plastic blade and without a blade but either way the magnets could be a little stronger. Keeps popping off if you move or turn it too quickly. Only using on 1/8" glass so it shouldn't be an issue. The metal blade is not a sharp blade like a razor blade. It's pretty dull but I think it would get the job done IF it actually sat flat on the glass. When I put the metal blade on it pushed the cleaner so far off the glass that the magnet doesnt even hold it, it just floats up. If the magnets were stronger I would keep a ton of these on hand but I am not sure I will be buying anymore of these unless stronger magnets are implemented.
