Don't let the price and small size fool you, this is a great product. My tuner amp died the other day and since all I needed for bedroom hi-fi was an amp I decided to give this little amp a shot. The assembly of the electronics is of high quality, as is the acrylic housing supplied as a kit. The parts are protected by a film that must be carefully removed. It is very easy to assemble. I'm using two high quality speakers salvaged from a dead Sony TV, an old HP power supply and a portable DVD player. I have played several violin concertos, the sound quality is excellent. The manufacturer told the buyer that the bandwidth is from 20Hz to 20kHz and I believe him. At the moderate volume that I needed in the bedroom, the power consumption at 12V was around 100mA.
