The results are shown above: the read speed was 56 megabytes per second and the write speed was 55 megabytes per second over a SATA* connection. We have a Zost hard drive (not spinning hard drives - essentially computer memory chips) that we tested. The results are shown below: Reading information was 133 megabytes per second and writing 122 megabytes per second over a SATA connection. Reading Zost = 133 = 2.375 times faster Writing Zost = 122 = 2.218 times faster There were results in sequential (no classic) reading and writing. Random access (classic) reading and writing gave the following results: read Zost = 15869 = 68.4 times faster write Zost = 14648 = 60.0 times faster / read from disk / 232 / write from disk / 244
