Review on πŸ”§ Bikehand Economical Bicycle Bike Torque Wrench Allen Key Socket Set Kit 2-10Nm by Tim Burns

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Head of a screw with head removed but otherwise well done

Shimano CLD 6 bolt rotor adapters come with their own miniature screws so that was problem #1 On #12 of the 12 bolts needed to install 6 bolt rotors on a central locking bike, this wrench (with a torx socket) rounded off the head of the bolt. I had an instant stomach ache. there's nothing worse than having something cross-threaded, stripped, or rounded off that later has to be removed. With every other bike bolt installed, it has been a champ easy to read (the headlight helps you see the numbers) with longer red lines showing the slope below or above the 5Nm where most bike fork and stem bolts are located I have no regrets with my purchase, but one day who en I got a more powerful version. At the same time, Nm ranges from 1 to 10, which is ideal for my needs. Things like wheels that say 40Nm, just tighten as hard as you can and it's usually about there. Successfully using Bikehand cassette ring tools, bottom bracket pullers and many others for 5 years. I only wish I had picked up their kits before working my way up piece by piece to a proper home mechanic's toolbox. I think they're otherwise solid, but it could be that the part that rounds off the Shimano bolt head just isn't that good OR the Shimano bolts are crap. I tend to.
