Review on 🔌 CableCreation Internal SFF 8087 36Pin Angle: Optimize Cable Management with Angled Design by Adam Jenkins

Contrary to several other reviews I've seen here, I wanted to be upfront and say that these cables are indeed perfect for the 1U R610 server. The connectors that attach to the backplane are exactly the same height as the original cables and the perfect length to plug my new H700 RAID into the onboard slot where the original PERC 6/i was. Of course, since the rear connectors are the same height as the original cables, there is no clearance issue for the server's top cover. For those who have complained of gap issues, my guess is that either the headers for the product offered here on Revain were recently redesigned, or the user probably didn't remove the fan assembly to allow for weaving. The cables are properly routed and neatly routed along the original cable path to the controller board. As for the cables themselves, they appear to be of the same quality as the cables they replaced for the PERC 6/i and they are good and secure both ends. Not only that, they do their job well. I highly recommend them!
