I'm a newbie and they work great for me. I bought a set of 24 and tried on every color except white and black. I've been using colored pencils for a long time and decided to go with watercolor. I can honestly say that all the colors look amazing! Greens look great, celadon and greens are on point, and reds and purples are vibrant. Some colors are very transparent (lemon yellow), while most colors are transparent or translucent. I use them with some Grace Art brushes (cheap but good for beginners) and am very happy with the results. Highly recommended.
