Review on Coffee maker VITEK VT-1517 BN, brown by Agata Szwed ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Im not particularly happy, but basically everything is fine.

Good choice for little money. It would be great if it weren't for the flaws. "Which fellow is dripping loudly from the end?" Now I know for sure the answer to this childish riddle. :) It is worth turning on the coffee maker for warming up, and after 20-30 seconds it starts to drip from the horn. Pokakapit a minute or two - and stops. A trifle, but annoying. But even more annoying is the small filter, which flies out of the horn two times out of three when the cake is shaken out. The big filter is fine, only the small one is a problem. Of course, I hold the filter with the built-in lever, but the pressed "tablet" often flies out with this same filter. I have already adapted to first picking out the cake, and then shaking out the remnants. Oddly enough, but the best foam is obtained from cheap powdered milk with a fat content of 3.2. Expensive high-quality milk sometimes does not even foam or the foam immediately falls off. Is this quality milk? Whoops! The type of coffee, grinding and the amount of ground coffee per volume of liquid also have to be carefully selected. Still in search. As for the reliability of the coffee maker, I can’t say yet, little time has passed. Hoping for the best :) ate as of 04/26/2022. Not having worked even for three years, the coffee maker ordered a long life. Boiling water began to lash - water incontinence. Parents have a similar 1514, it is also dripping with might and main there. For almost three years of operation, some more features have become clear. It is very inconvenient to wash the water tank. It is narrow and deep, with sharp corners that cannot be reached with an ordinary brush. I had to invent all sorts of leashes with a piece of foam at the end. The cappuccinatore began to work poorly after a year and a half. After another six months, they stopped making cappuccino, as it became just a transfer of milk. In general, its money is probably worth it, but over the years of use, the overall impression has deteriorated.

Pros
  • Automatic cappuccinatore for little money, easy to maintain, quiet. Espresso, latte, cappuccino - everything is Feng Shui :) The foam is royal, but milk must be selected.
Cons
  • The small filter falls out of the horn when turned over. When heated, water leaks from the horn. To put a tall latte glass (340 ml), you have to pull out the drip tray, but even without it, the glass crawls through with difficulty. And since the water digs in, you also have to put a napkin on it. Not comme il faut.
