I bought it to have at home for my granddaughter. She is 9 months old and she loves it. I think she would spend all day in it if I let her. There's no strap to hold her in place, but as long as you're facing her there's really no risk. They can't easily slip or fall out, too deep for that (at least for a 9 month old). I would never leave her in it unattended. My husband assembled it in minutes. The sliders on the sides make it very easy to adjust the swing so it stays level. I was planning to build a swing like this, but when I bought the fabric, wooden bars, rope, brackets, etc. I was very close to the $34 I paid for it, and it didn't even factor in my time . I don't think you can go wrong with that hesitation. It's almost perfect in every way! We love it! hp Note that toddlers may fall asleep on the swing. :) My granddaughter was so relaxed she just sat back and passed out. When I recently left her alone for a long weekend, we used the swing after the swim to relax her and get her ready for the fairy tale and the bottle. It worked great!
