Canvas material feels...normal. It's quite hard to figure out how to assemble this because the instructions are short and on such a small card. You also have to tie the knots yourself and it was all wobbly and crooked no matter how many times I adjusted them. I wouldn't trust myself to put my child in it and I haven't even fully assembled it yet. Wouldn't recommend it.

This is a cute swing my child can sit on for hours. Literally the first time she sat there for almost 2 hours. But I wouldn't call it a street swing. I've had it for 2 months now and it's covered in mold. I understand that the tree is not glued? I don't know how to clean it (canvas I can wash obviously, but wood?) or if it's worth it I'll probably go for some plastic to keep it from getting moldy again, especially as my toddler likes to chew on it.

This swing is easy to put together, looks great and feels pretty solid so far (although I haven't had it that long). The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I want something in it that helps with hanging. I had to go out and buy additional materials to attach it to the branch I hung it from. While they can't provide extra length of rope (obviously everyone's hanging situation is different), it would be great if it were a bit clearer in the description.

I bought it to have at home for my granddaughter. She is 9 months old and she loves it. I think she would spend all day in it if I let her. There's no strap to hold her in place, but as long as you're facing her there's really no risk. They can't easily slip or fall out, too deep for that (at least for a 9 month old). I would never leave her in it unattended. My husband assembled it in minutes. The sliders on the sides make it very easy to adjust the swing so it stays level. I was planning to…
