Review on 🌧️ Blue Kote SML C250B 2000: Weather Resistant Pocket for Ultimate Durability by Ron Patel

I bought these bench screws from a Girl Scout project. I built a lot of patio and patio furniture the traditional way and decided to try pocket holes for these benches. The pocket hole design is great, but the Kreg screws were a little awkward to use, especially when the job was being done by young scouts. A Kreg square drive will not seat well in the screw head. If you deviate from the angle of the drill, the drill would come off the screw. Sometimes the snaffle had to be removed and the head fished out by hand to reattach it. If the sawdust was not completely removed from the pocket holes, it would sometimes collect in the detached screw head, making the situation worse. Having worked with Phillips and Torx screws I would not choose these screws. The problem can be further solved by deepening the square groove on the screw heads.
