Good value for money but obviously some consistency issues

That's a great price considering how much small boxes cost in stores. My only gripe is that there is quite an inconsistent quality among the screws. Some have a square heart filled with color, others have a miscut square head. Also, some of these screws don't lock completely when screwed all the way in, but just keep turning. So I wouldn't do any critical stuff with it, although my tables and 2x4 carts have no problem with it. Overall this is the cheapest way to get these screws if you use them

Pros
  • Needle point minimizes running
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Great single release screws

I bought these bench screws from a Girl Scout project. I built a lot of patio and patio furniture the traditional way and decided to try pocket holes for these benches. The pocket hole design is great, but the Kreg screws were a little awkward to use, especially when the job was being done by young scouts. A Kreg square drive will not seat well in the screw head. If you deviate from the angle of the drill, the drill would come off the screw. Sometimes the snaffle had to be removed and the head…

Pros
  • Large Maxi-Loc head stops when it hits the bottom of the hole
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Kreg white good quality

First of all great price! To buy a small box of these (100 pieces) at your local hardware store you can easily spend $8-$10. So $79 for a box of 2,000 is a great value if you work with wood a lot like me. I've found that Revain's daily price beats any competitor's price. I bought blue Kreg screws because I knew I was going to be making patio furniture and they are weather resistant. Kreg screws are designed to hide a pocket hole and fill it with putty. I bought these to build a farmhouse style…
