Review on Apple IPad Pro 11 Inches (Late 2018) 256GB by Pahal Bhatta ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product for me, no problems at all.

I was looking for a device for consuming content - youtube, chrome (so that passwords could be pulled up). The contenders were samsung galaxy tab s6, microsoft surface pro 7 and ipad pro 11. I chose the latter. Its screen is larger than s6, but smaller than pro7, while the size of the case for me is the maximum possible for work - I can type with two thumbs in portrait orientation. The case is larger - it will no longer be convenient, the case is smaller - you will already want a larger diagonal. By the way, the search for how to edit a photo took me, according to my feelings, an hour and a half. Is it logical that editing a photo is called "marking" when you click a circle with three dots? (NO!). After reading the shortcomings, it may seem that I was disappointed in the choice, but this is not so. The device does an excellent job of doing what it was bought for, and it can also be a great notebook or notepad, so buying a pencil is my next step. I'm used to the features of the menu, just call it logical, and glitches - their absence, I won't, because I'm not a fan of Apple. The device itself turned out to be excellent, it is very pleasant to interact with it, although it is not as convenient as with an android (Apple is still growing and growing here). At the same time, the device from Apple is no longer as closed as before, having uploaded the videos downloaded from the torrent by the phone to the cloud, I was able to download them from the cloud to the file system of the iPad, from where they can be watched with a video player without any problems. Of course, crutches, but it's better than nothing. At the same time, the shell likes to suggest where the face ID camera is, that you closed it, or which side the power button is currently on to confirm the purchase in the app store, this is really cool, since I often get lost which side I hold the tablet. I use huawei freebuds 3 as headphones with it, I liked more airpods, while for them their charge is shown next to the clock. I think that this is the best tablet for content consumption or as a notebook / notepad for today and like any other device with its pluses and minuses.

Pros
  • Screen 120 Hz. When you start using the iPad, you do not notice that something has changed. Until you pick up your old iPad or your phone. This is where you realize that 120 Hz is quite noticeable. The old iPad Pro, iPhone and Samsung immediately seem like devices from the past, animations after 120 Hz look so torn on them. Long battery life (despite 120 Hz!). Excellent speakers. Amazing fluidity and animations. The same Apple magic. And the device itself is very cool in design (well, except for the camera) and in the feel in the hands. Type-si. Now I charge the Huawei headphones and the Samsung phone by charging from the iPad (and fast charging works). It's comfortable! Plus, you can connect peripherals via Type-C, since Ali Type-C has a little more docks than dofiga.
Cons
  • Screen Format. Youtube has huge frames. Glitches and podvisony aipad wasps. Anyone who says that iOS is not buggy is lying. I even take screenshots on purpose, how part of the interface got stuck in the middle of YouTube, or how the keyboard went halfway behind the screen and stayed there. By the way, in the new firmware you can no longer split the keyboard in half, just leave it in a floating window. iPad OS version - 13.3.1, I set up the device from scratch, there are few programs, so it works out of the box. No mouse support. The finger emulation circle is NOT mouse support, it's a crutch. We combine glitches, podvisons and the lack of mouse support - we get that there can be no question of any replacement of the computer. Look at the videos on YouTube - there, apart from moving the sliders in the lightroom, no one else does anything on the iPad, while everyone unanimously claims that the iPad replaced the computer with them. But this is how sliders can be moved on a mobile phone, I always thought that working in FS is a little different . Lack of convenient implementation of gestures and adaptation of the interface. Those. when surfing the web, you constantly have to poke into a variety of corners of the screen. On android, back gestures hang on a swipe from the side faces for a long time, and the curtain can be pulled out from anywhere on the screen, not necessarily from the screen border. No taptik engine or any other tactile feedback! If you want to understand that the buttons were pressed while typing on the keyboard - leave the typing sounds to the delight of others. If you want notifications from the cart - leave sounds, let it "thump" without ceasing. On all my devices, the sound is always turned off so as not to disturb others, there is enough vibration and notifications on the clock. In this regard, the new iPad is the last century. I immediately remembered my first Motorola phone without a vibrating alert and a clock. Such is the "professional" tool. Brightness setting: settings - screen and brightness - brightness. Is it logical to look for auto brightness there? But no. It's on the way: settings - accessibility - display and text size - auto-brightness. And that's half the menu. The screen flexes when pressed.
