Review on ๐Ÿš— Autel MaxiAP AP200 OBD2 Scanner - iOS & Android Car Diagnostic Scan Tool with Full System Check, Service Functions, and Engine Light Code Reader by Amrozi Papi

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It met my needs for finding trouble codes and regularly servicing my vehicles.

Update: I subscribed to four car brands but the fourth subscription didn't work even though I had to pay for it. I'm disappointed. The scanner still works fine for the other three. Before: It is helpful if you learn about using ODB ScanTools before using the scanner. This can be confusing if you don't understand the error code hierarchy. Extended codes would also make more sense. Deducting one star for lack of full instructions on each feature. I use advanced functions more often than standard ODB tests. This gives me the transmission oil temperature required for scheduled maintenance and oil changes. I noticed that the speed at which data is collected depends on the car brand. My Honda was fast and my Mercedes was much slower because it was testing more functions. Downloading the Benz app also took a long time and had to be downloaded multiple times for my iPhone 6s. I also use this with my iPad Air, which has a faster processor, larger screen, and more storage. I don't know if these apps work with iOS 14 as I haven't updated them yet. When I compare the scanner to my friends $500 scanner I get about the same information. The cost of the annual subscription is higher than the cost of buying a scanner.
