I bought these to keep an eye on the uneven heat distribution in my new home. The HVAC company was absent twice but told me it was all in my head and that "I just don't understand how the zone system works". Both thermostats read the correct temperature, but the bedrooms are either much hotter or much colder. So I bought them to see the difference for myself. Thermometers seem to work fine. I can't be sure of the accuracy, although I do have them sit together in the same room overnight to ensure they all read the same temperature. I put one in every room in my apartment and found I wasn't crazy even though the main thermostat was reading or being talked at like an idiot by the HVAC person. As it turns out, this guy's an idiot, and thanks to these little kids, I've got proof.
