quality issues. - Knife block sets

There are a few questions about the knife set. The packaging appears to be sealed with the original label and has never been opened. When unpacking the device, there is a very strong smell of chemicals and mold in every slot of the knife. Also, the symbol on the block is beveled. Knives have white markings on the handles.
