I've found that the red pin, which is designed to release the anchor once installed in the door, is sometimes too flexible. I have found anchors to open in hard to reach places without the pin breaking in half by holding the center of the pin with my fingers and tapping the pin head with a hammer. UPDATE: Nine months later, everything is still rock solid. Even after my little one has tried several times to lower the shelf, it stays secure and doesn't move at all. Not the slightest wobble. Consistent flawless performance of this product.
