We bought a used Infiniti Q40 that came with a smart key only. The dealer wants $300 to add another. I bought this (2) pack and took it to my local locksmith. If you have a working smart key, you can program it in just a few minutes. They wanted $85 for a one-on-one program or $125 for two. I made them both. One caveat, as pointed out by another reviewer, is that the genuine mechanical key they come with is not chipped. This is required in case your remote control battery dies and you need to use the smart key connector on the left side of the dashboard. I paid an extra $10 for a pair of mechanical keys that could be cut and programmed. Find "2 KeylessOption Spare Keys Remote Keyless Emergency Insert Uncut Blade Blank with Transponder Chip for Smart Prox". They contained a chip and were programmed accordingly. This setting works perfectly. 4 stars because they should already come with chipped mechanical keys.
