These strips really help the cake stay flat during baking. The Velcro closure makes it easy to use and keeps things organized while baking. It has helped my cakes turn out beautiful every time I use them. In fact, if you enjoy baking, I would recommend getting two pairs as I sometimes have to bake multiple cakes at the same time. I washed mine in the washing machine and let it air dry. Another baking tip, if you're having a really hard time lifting/lowering the cupcakes, try lowering the temperature by 25 degrees and baking a few minutes longer. It's the temperature difference that causes the cupcakes to rise in the middle. So if you turn the heat down, the pan won't get as hot.
