Perfect layers - Say good bye to domed, cracked cake layers and hello to flat, moist layers with easy- to-use Regency even bake cake strips. High quality - our aluminized cotton strips eliminate the need to shave the top of the cake for layering and icing by conducting heat evenly throughout the baking process. Easy to use - simply moisten the strips completely with water being sure to squeeze out excess liquid until damp, and secure with hook and loop closure around the outside of your 8" & 9" Cake pans pan before filling. Made for use with straight walled cake pans (not pie tins). good in temperatures up to 400°. allow pans to cool before removing. Set contains 2-30" Bands, enough for two 8" or 9" Pans.

The proof is in the cake!

They were easy to use. Simply soak in cold water for a few minutes and then wrap around the cake pan. They fit a 9 inch can with some space. Then bake as usual. I did a test run: 1 cake without and 1 with these cake strips, baked at the same time in the same split cake pans. You will see in my photos that the color and shape of the cake is more consistent with the stripes than without them. This saves me the hassle of slicing the cake to even it out, so I'm happy!

Easy to use, functional, helps!

These strips really help the cake stay flat during baking. The Velcro closure makes it easy to use and keeps things organized while baking. It has helped my cakes turn out beautiful every time I use them. In fact, if you enjoy baking, I would recommend getting two pairs as I sometimes have to bake multiple cakes at the same time. Works fine but strange color on one

So I soaked them in cold water for 10 minutes or more as instructed. When I took them out of the water to put them on the pots, I squeezed them to remove the excess water. One of them began to blush. After the cupcakes were finished I saw what was inside was bleeding all over the ribbon. Not sure why this happened. I'm not sure what this one has that the other doesn't have. My new best friend in baking tools and supplies

Regular bakers + 9 inch pan users, look elsewhere!

If you don't bake much but still want perfect brownies, these strips are perfect. I cook in a dark nonstick pan and it makes a world of difference. The outer fabric is also aluminum coated for better heat management and really holds up! It really takes 25 minutes in the oven before they lose their moisture. Flat bottoms but you may need to adjust baking time/temperature

Three identical 9 inch butter cakes baked in a non-convection oven with two different types of pans. Without going into too much detail, my findings: so if you're using dark cake pans (which tend to heat up too quickly), these strips really help slow down the baking process so the sides of your cake don't get hard and brown, before the middle comes out, a chance to get up. Easy-to-use baking strips for 7-inch pans!

I started making cakes for special occasions as a sideline in 2010. I always use baking strips when I bake a cake; I started with the Wilton cake strips (with pins) but I like the Regency strips best because they have easy-to-use Velcro closures.
