If you don't bake much but still want perfect brownies, these strips are perfect. I cook in a dark nonstick pan and it makes a world of difference. The outer fabric is also aluminum coated for better heat management and really holds up! It really takes 25 minutes in the oven before they lose their moisture. BUT: I bake a cake once a week, and after a year of use, I've found some flaws that are worth noting. The weakest part is the Velcro. . After about 50 uses (in a year) Velcro now has the holding power of a post-it note. To be honest, they're still holding on to the pan, but barely. Second, they're only really long enough for 8-inch pans because they shrink. I've used them on 8.5" pans and now the overlap for the velcro is only about 4cm. I just bought real 9 inch pans and they no longer fit. Maybe the new set will fit 9" and stay that way, but that's a dumb bet in my opinion. Again, they work, but they don't have the survivability that a serious baker needs.
