Good binding, perfect size, good paper for most environments

I like the binding of this magazine and the size of the pages that stretch orientate towards landscape orientation. The pages are perforated so your work won't stay in the magazine forever if you decide to publish it. The front and back are durable and attractive. This magazine presents itself well; Just looking at it makes you want to open it and start your next project. It is sold as watercolor paper but I have tried multiple mediums. The paper has a texture that I think is perfect for watercolors. He doesn't like rough washes and if you try, he'll warp a little. As long as I didn't have too much water on my brush and my strokes weren't slow and heavy, my watered down watercolors in tubes worked well. My Prismacolor Premier alcohol markers bled through the paper and the texture of the paper made it difficult to get a solid color pattern. Fountain pens with wide serrations also worked well, as did my Stabilo and Sakura fineline markers. Graphite pencils worked well, as did gel pens. Fountain pen nibs and very thin fountain pen nibs can get caught on the fibers. The paper is heavy and feels comfortable. For its intended purpose, this is an excellent watercolor magazine and I recommend it.
