This remote control is cheap, fake and doesn't work. No matter what I do, it won't control the TV. I've tried the seller's suggestions of pressing all the buttons on the remote to reset it (what's the reset instruction, is that even!?) and also tried resetting my TV following the instructions on the product description page. I then contacted the seller and informed them that I tried resetting both the remote and the TV according to their instructions and neither worked. Their response was to send me the exact same instructions in a canned response email. And for what it's worth, they made the mistake of sending me two of these remotes and neither of them work.
